5 Challenges you can address to soar in your career

We did not want you to miss out on the exciting live video hosted by Coach Africa’s Irene Mphatso earlier this week.

Irene hosted this wonderful video for you in order to help you all focus on the things in life that matter to you!

It is your guide to look back at your goals that you set at the start of the year and to shine a light on the possible blocks standing in your way!

Here are the 5 challenges that you can address to soar in your business, career and personal life.

1. Lack of Motivation

Many of us deal with the most common enemy of all, a lack of motivation. This can really create a huge block in our pathway, since it is easy to lose the drive that we had at the beginning of the year.

Why does this happen you may ask? Irene mentions that there are several factors that could create this issue including burn out, the environment we surround ourselves in as well as a lack of energy. During such difficult times, it is important to acknowledge that feeling tired, and overwhelmed is entirely possible, however it is also necessary to ask yourself what are the main reasons you are feeling this way?

Being honest with yourself will allow you to address the root cause of these feelings and propel yourself to take action for your dreams. It is as easy as having a conversation with someone who could help you.

2. Chronic Procrastination

Another challenge that we may run into is chronic procrastination. Do you feel like you tend to make excuses to avoid certain things? Don't worry! We all experience this at times, however it is essential to pay attention to why we procrastinate? Laziness & fear are some of the most common causes for procrastination, however we encourage you to take action and be aware that it is okay to face challenges. A great quote mentioned by Irene is “Fear I recognize you, you are there and I feel you but I am not going to let you stop me!”

By prepping yourself in advance, you can avoid being afraid, allow yourself to succeed, allow yourself to stand out and be the best you. You are meant to be special, continue focusing on the goals you have!

3. Lack of resources

The third challenge we may face is a lack of resources, especially on the African Continent. A powerful quote that is relevant here is that the lack of internal resources reflect on the lack external resources. By building your resources on the inside, it will be reflected externally as well as this positive mindset will attract the right people and circumstances for you to thrive.

The best way to work on this is to focus on your work consciousness and your mindset by engaging with positive content that can inspire you.

4. Lack of Time

Another challenge that could be standing in your way is the lack of time. You can create solutions for this issue, by setting priorities in your life. Based on the priorities you set, you can discipline yourself by scheduling your tasks based on importance. Another important quality, is the ability to say NO, give yourself the permission to say no to things that do not align with your goals.

5. Identity Crisis

The final big challenge is identity crisis. Many people are facing the issue of not knowing who they are and what they stand for. Take the time to truly identify what you really want, go back to the basics by defining your values. By doing this, you can identify your strengths and make huge leaps in your journey.

We hope that this sets a reminder as to how you can achieve your 2021 dreams.
